When sublimation printing ,what should we do if CISS ink cartridges produce bubbles

When using sublimation printing technology to print pictures, the printing effect is not good in some places. How to take the bubbles in the cartridge? What are the phenomena caused by the bubbles in the cartridge?

1.Fault phenomenon

(1).The continuous ink supply system has been working for a few months and cannot be printed now.
(2).Many cleaning commands are executed every day before normal printing.
(3).Printed test leads always have unfixed breaks.
(4).The test line that was just printed is normal, but the line breaks after printing a few pages.
(5).Printing is always missing (usually black)
It has been a long time since the external ink cartridge was placed in the low position, and now the ink supply line does not enter the ink.

2.Solution

The above failure phenomenon is caused by the foaming of the ink in the ink cartridge. After six months of use, the continuous ink supply system gradually accumulates ink from a small amount of tiny air bubbles in the ink and a small amount of air bubbles entering the print cartridge from the print head. The maintenance method is not complicated, and the bubbles are taken out and replaced with normal ink.
Incorrectly lowering the external ink cartridge will also accelerate the formation of the ink chamber foam, even if the continuous ink supply system of the original EPSON ink cartridge is used.
To troubleshoot this type of failure, please follow these steps:
 Sublimation Printer
 Sublimation Printing
(1). Remove the continuous ink supply system from the inkjet sublimation printer. After removal, the print cartridge should not be inverted and placed on the same level as the external ink cartridge. If a sealing plug is used during initial installation, insert the sealing plug into each ink outlet on the bottom of the cartridge. For the model with the memory chip on the ink cartridge produced in the later stage of EPSON, since the ink outlet is equipped with a valve, a sealing plug is not required. Install a new or in-use original EPSON cartridge on the printer. This cartridge must be an original cartridge that has not been opened, unfilled, or damaged. The original EPSON cartridge can guarantee correct test results during testing. This step is essential.
(2). After the ink cart is returned to the position, the printer will perform a natural
cleaning once. Please perform a nozzle check to print the test line. The cleaning and
printing test lines can be repeated three more times until the test line is completely
normal. Then print the test chart of four-color or six-color color block (depending on your model, the print setting is in 360DPI / plain paper mode), the color block test chart must be printed continuously for 3~5 sheets, and observe whether the printer works normally. If the print is abnormal, repeat the above steps. If the printer is still not working properly after 9 to 12 cleanings, let the printer rest for 12 hours before testing. In most cases, the printer will return to normal.
When the color patch test chart printed by the printer is stable, you can be sure that your printer nozzle is intact. Once you have concluded that your printer is normal, you can continue with the following steps to maintain your continuous ink supply system.
If you still cannot print normally after using the above method, please contact EPSON service center for warranty or contact printer repair shop for repair. Although the discontinuous ink supply system is faulty at this time, contact us can still get help. Before deciding to deliver to the EPSON repair center, please remove the parts and labels related to the continuous ink supply system, and do not mention EPSON the use of third-party ink or continuous ink supply system, only that you are using original EPSON ink cartridges. Explain the symptoms.
(3). When your sublimation printer is working properly, the following steps will return your continuous ink supply system to normal.
 Sublimation Printer

Insert the 50 ml disposable syringe tube (with the needle removed) into the ink outlet at the bottom of the print cartridge connected to the continuous ink supply system, tilt the syringe tube slightly, and slowly draw ink from the cartridge. The ink should be It is sucked from the external ink cartridge into the print cartridge through the ink line, and then continuously sucked into the syringe tube. When the syringe tube is full, observing the amount of ink and foam that is drawn will tell you what caused the continuous ink supply system to print poorly. The printer does not print the foamy ink normally, you must pull them out through the syringe.
Uncover the rubber plug of the external ink cartridge and inject the ink from the syringe into the external ink cartridge. This process does not waste ink, and the foamy ink turns into liquid ink after two hours.
This dye sublimation ink extraction process is repeated with a syringe until almost no foam is visible in the extracted ink. This requires approximately 100 ml of ink to be
circulated. That is, it is necessary to repeat the ink extraction process twice.
Note: The ink extraction process should be slow, you can pause, and don't cut too fast.
Perform the above ink extraction process in the order of yellow → light magenta → magenta → light cyan → cyan → black. When changing color, be sure to clean the syringe with warm water. If your ink cartridge uses a sealing plug, the other ink outlets should be plugged with a sealing plug when operating in one color chamber.
(4). Put the ink cartridge together with the continuous ink supply system back to the
printer, and check and debug until the normal operation according to the operation sequence in step 2 above.
