Do you know how to safely install sublimation ink for Epson sublimation printers? Here are some specific steps for installation, please follow the steps below to complete the installation.

Epson Sublimation Printing Machine

Dye sublimation inks and ordinary dye-based inks are different, because the ink from solid to gas. The medium used for dye sublimation has a special coating used to capture the ink, resulting in a more accurate mixture than that produced by the fine points of an inkjet printer. As dye sublimates ink penetrates the medium, the ink dries immediately and does not fade with time. According to dye sublimation inks, the chosen inkjet printer model can be used with thermal sublimation ink because the printer head uses tiny piezoelectric print head technology that transmits the sublimation ink through the injector.

Step 1

Install Epson utility software and sublimation ink color management software on your computer.

Step 2

Plug the USB cable into the appropriate slot on the large format Epson inkjet printer and computer to connect. Plug the printer power cord into the socket.

Step 3

Lift the printer cover, open and replace the ink cartridge in the Epson printer with a compatible thermal sublimation cartridge. Make sure the cartridge is stuck into the slot to lock in place.

Step 4

Open the printer and start the Epson printer utility, then select the clean print head function to force ink through the print head.

If necessary, insert the sublimation paper into the tray and print the test page.

Continuous ink supply system

Step 1: Install the Epson utility on your computer.

Step 2: Connect the USB cable to the corresponding slot in the printer and plug it into the corresponding slot on the computer.

Step 3: Lift the sublimation printer cover and replace the cartridge in the printer with the cartridge in the continuous ink supply system. Make sure that each cartridge is stuck in place to lock in place.

Step 4: Plug the printer into a power socket and turn on the printer.

Step 5: Unplug the printer power cord as soon as the printer cartridge moves (unlocks).

Step 6: Hold the connector pipe above the inside of the printer and gently push the cartridge set to the left of the printer.

Step 7: Install the plastic holder onto the inner central panel and insert the pipe into the clamp. Make sure the pipe does not hang inside the printer to avoid winding as the print head moves left and right.

Step 8: Gently push the cartridge bank to the right of the printer. Adjust the pipe if necessary to create slack as the printer head moves to each side of the printer.

Step 9: Place the rest of the pipe to the left of the printer and clamp it to the printer.

Step 10: According to the manufacturer's instructions, remove the plug from each ink container in the continuous ink supply system and insert it into the air filter.

Step 11: Start the Epson printing machine utility and plug the printer's power cord into a socket. Turn on the printer.

Step 12: Select the function of cleaning the print head and run the ink through the pipe. Repeat the printer head cleaning function if needed.If necessary, insert the sublimation paper into the tray and print the test page.

Tips:Depending on the ink composition of the printer, dye sublimation ink suppliers will provide appropriate color management software.

Use sublimation paper and transfer media with your sublimation inkjet system as other media may be too absorbent or too thin for the ink.

warning:According to the manufacturer's instructions, sublimate ink is used to refill the sublimate continuous ink system to avoid pipe clogging.
