How to choose premium sublimation paper based on ink to reduce your printing cost?

1. Choose suitable weight of sublimation transfer paper according to ink load:

Premium Sublimation Paper 

(1). Low ink injection: For low ink printing, 70 g and 100 g heat transfer sublimation paper should be selected. As long as the ambient humidity control (air conditioning dehumidification or evaporation humidification) is between 40-60% RH, it can print smoothly.
(2). High ink-jet capacity: In order to print large areas of dark patterns, such as dark block patterns, 120 grams of transfer paper should be selected. The ideal ambient humidity is between 60-70% RH. If the user only has 80g and 100g transfer paper, please be careful not to let the transfer paper get wet first. Secondly, please control the humidity of the printing room at 50% RH. If you do, you can also use lighter weight transfer paper. Print high ink jet mode smoothly.

2. Choose the appropriate weight of sublimation transfer paper according to the relative humidity of printing environment:

Sublimation Transfer Paper

(1). Low humidity: 80 grams sublimation paper should be selected for printing under humidity less than 45% RH (without humidifying equipment). Because in low humidity environment, the paper shrinks and the whole printing surface arches upward, and the absorption of ink wrinkles becomes more obvious during printing, which is relatively hard for 120g and 100g transfer paper. The arched nozzle rubs easily. 80g transfer paper is thin and flexible, which can reduce the degree of arch, and is easier to be absorbed by the suction table of the printer without being too arch.
(2). High humidity: 120 g dye sublimation paper should be selected for printing in humidity above 70% RH (there is no dehumidification equipment in the printing room). Because in high humidity environment, paper will absorb moisture immediately, resulting in paper softening, hardness will be reduced, paper will slowly elongate. Therefore, in the printing process, the paper outlet shaft will be slowly arched on both sides, through the paper roll. Pull the ribs out to wipe the nozzle. Because 100 grams and 80 grams of paper are not hard enough in high humidity environment, it will be difficult to print. 120 grams of paper is hard. In high humidity, the back is not easy to arching. Even if it is a little arched, the rubbing wheel will not pull out the ribs and print smoothly.
