The coating of the sticky sublimation dye paper is the main factor that can influence the speed of drying. The coating of sticky sublimation textile paper is mainly made up of high molecular polymer. Different with the fast dry sublimation transfer paper, this kind of coating is water-based, so the sticky paper needs longer drying time. And there is one thing that you should know: the higher tackiness is, the slower the paper dries. You should choose the suitable sticky paper instead of higher sticky paper.

Different factories and customers have different requirements about the sticky inkjet sublimation paper. Some of them pay more attention to the tackiness of the paper, because they just want high sticky paper, and don’t care the drying speed. Sublimation transfer paper is coated with a special chemical that transfers any printed images on the paper to another material or surface when placed under heated pressure.Sublimation coating paper can be used for transferring chemical fiber, blending textiles especially for elastic textile.

Film is better than the inkjet sublimation papers. They are highly reflective than the papers since they have the perfect coating of sublimation on them. Due to its unique high porosity design 3D transfer film holds up to 50% more ink than other competitive products on the market without losing any image clarity. Transfer film produces sharp smooth finishes that are virtually dry on printing, therefore greatly reducing mess and waste. Film although come at a costlier rate than the heat transfer papers but these films retain the print on the blanks, for longer as compared to the heat transfer papers. Handling heat transfer papers are messier as compared to the transfer film because the film is easy to remove, sticks easily on the blank and prints quickly as compared to the paper.

6.The disadvantages of choosing 3D sublimation film

3D sublimation transfer film

Film is more expensive than paper. The cost per unit of your product increases resulting in lower profits. Film is not readily available in the market. Since, it is not a highly successful product, it is less prevalent in India. The quality of print using film is better than paper, but there is not a huge difference. The quality also depends on the smoothness of the 3D sublimation phone covers.

In summary, you can choose the type of heat transfer sublimation paper you want to print based on the materials you want to print, but in general, more people prefer to use heat transfer sublimation paper.
