Therefore, it is difficult to calculate the thickness of the drum, and the calculated value is relatively small, considering wear and easy to manufacture, so the thickness of the shell will usually choose thicker.After determining the thickness of the shell, we need to check the strength of the shell, but because the shell is subjected to normal and tangential loads, and the size of the load will vary along the circumference of the drum.Therefore, up to now,there is no accurate calculation method for the calculation of the thickness of the drum .Although the finite element calculation can relatively accurately calculate the results, there is still a lack of a common procedure for the calculation of the conveyor roller. Only the finite element analysis can be performed on the individual drums, not all of the drum can not be analyzed and calculated.
